Terms and Conditions:

The following Terms and Conditions set out the nature of our contract with you. These terms are governed by English Law all proceedings are to take place under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

Eligibility:

You must be in reasonably good physical and mental health so that you can complete one of our walking tours without undue distress to yourself and so that the enjoyment of other participants is not put in jeopardy.

If during the tour our guide deems it necessary, you may be asked to opt out of certain portions of the tour or even to leave the tour altogether. This will be at your own expense.

If you have a health condition or disability which may require special arrangements, please discuss it with us before you book- or, should such a condition arise after booking as soon as possible- so that we can find the ideal solution to meet your needs.

We reserve the right to refuse a booking without supplying a reason.

Payment, Cancellations and Refunds

Full payment is due before the tour starts. Payment must be made in Pounds Stirling either via PayPal or by card.

If you should you cancel a booked tour, our refund structure is as follows:

Cancellation & Refund charge for private guided tours

  • More than 14 days’ notice of cancellation- Full refund (minus any admin fees)
  • 8-14 days’ notice of cancellation– 50% refund (minus any admin fees)
  • 4-7 days’ notice of cancellation- 25% refund (minus any admin fees)
  • 4 days or less notice of cancellation- no refund.
  • Admin charges will include if any entry ticket cost to monuments are mentioned as inclusion in any tour as  they are not exchangeable and refundable.
  • You can also refer to cancellation charges mentioned on each respective tours description.

Cancellation & Refund charge for public guided tours

  • Bookings can be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to the tour with no penalty
  • No refund after this time
  • Admin charges will include if any entry ticket cost to monuments are mentioned  as inclusion in any tour as they are not exchangeable and refundable.
  • You can also refer to cancellation charges mentioned on each respective tours description.

If we cancel a tour for any reason (potential reasons will be explained below) then we will be happy to refund you everything which you paid including admin fees.

Possible reasons we may have to cancel a tour:

  • Too few bookings to make the tour economically viable
  • Force Majeure – the outbreak of civil unrest, war or natural disaster or another event which may render a tour unsafe for you and our guides.
  • The limits of our abilities- we take responsibility for each aspect of our tours as a principle except where Force Majeure applies.
  • We make changes- where circumstances arise which mean we are unable to offer a tour as advertised we will attempt to work with you to find a satisfactory alternative. If this alternative represents a significant loss to the tour then compensation will be offered. If you are still unhappy with the proposed alternatives, you will be entitled to a complete refund.

Prices Exclude:

  • Public Transport costs
  • Food and Drink


While gratuities and tips are entirely at your discretion, they are gratefully accepted.

Insurance:

While London Strides blue badge guides are covered by ITG insurance during the tour, we strongly recommend that customers arrange their own travel insurance.

PRIVACY POLICY

By using our site or completing our booking form, you agree that you have read, understood and agree to our privacy policy as set out below.

You are responsible for insuring that all members of the party you are booking for are aware of and consent to this policy.

When you book with us, we collect certain data from the form. This allows us to run the services which you have booked and to communicate with you about said services.

We are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy and take all due care to protect and treat it with the respect that it deserves.

We will never use your data for any other purpose than the legitimate operation of our business and to communicate with you about the services you have chosen to book.

What Personally Identifiable Data Do We Collect?

When you communicate with us by email, phone or by filling out an online booking form or via any other method, we collect certain bits of personal information. This allows us to supply our services to you and fulfil your request.

The data we collect includes your name and whichever contact information you choose to supply.

How and Why We Retain Your Data

We retain your personal data for as long as required to supply our services to you. In the case of financial information, we retain them as long as required by law.

We use this data to complete and manage your bookings and to send general communications about said bookings.

We may also use them to contact you for marketing purposes and to send information about future tours and events. You may opt out of this at any time.

Card payment transactions are processed through Worldpay. These are governed by Worldpay’s Privacy Policy which can be read here. We only share what is absolutely necessary to complete the booking.

Your Right to Access and Deletion

If you would to access or remove the data we store on you, please get in contact and we will comply as quickly as possible.

COOKIES

Cookies are small text files which are placed on your computer. These allow us to better understand how our online services are being used and offer you the best personalised experience while making use of our online services.

Cookies cannot be used to identify you personally and only recognise the device you are using to access our site. They can only be read by the domain which issued them.
