When you book a tour with London Strides you can rest assured that we know what we’re talking about.Our guides are the proud owners of a Blue Badge the highest professional recognition of guiding in this country. This means that they have completed an intensive course and no less than 12 exams on the history and sites of the city over the course of 2 years.To say they know their stuff would be an understatement.
Blue badge guides are the only external guides allowed to take tours around some of the city’s biggest sites, including the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey and the only guides entrusted to take you around the city’s many spectacular museums.
Of course, while all our tours are highly educational, we aim to impart a bit more than the facts and figures. To really get to the heart of the story of the city, you need to understand the context. That’s why all our tours aim to go deeper and give you a more rounded experience- we don’t just want to tell you about it, we want you to experience it for yourself.A tour from us is a step above what many tourists have come to expect.
Most of our tours consist of smaller groups than many of our competitors- typically being between 6 and 12 members. While this means our tours are a little more expensive, we believe the trade-off for this is more than worth it.
