Payment, Cancellations and Refunds

Full payment is due before the tour starts. Payment must be made in Pounds Stirling either via PayPal or by card.

If you should you cancel a booked tour, our refund structure is as follows:

Cancellation & Refund charge for private guided tours

  • More than 14 days’ notice of cancellation- Full refund (minus any admin fees)
  • 8-14 days’ notice of cancellation– 50% refund (minus any admin fees)
  • 4-7 days’ notice of cancellation- 25% refund (minus any admin fees)
  • 4 days or less notice of cancellation- no refund.
  • Admin charges will include if any entry ticket cost to monuments are mentioned as inclusion in any tour as they are not exchangeable and refundable.
  • You can also refer to cancellation charges mentioned on each respective tours description.

Cancellation & Refund charge for public guided tours

  • Bookings can be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to the tour with no penalty
  • No refund after this time
  • Admin charges will include if any entry ticket cost to monuments are mentioned as inclusion in any tour as they are not exchangeable and refundable.
  • You can also refer to cancellation charges mentioned on each respective tours description.

If we cancel a tour for any reason (potential reasons will be explained below) then we will be happy to refund you everything which you paid including admin fees.

Possible reasons we may have to cancel a tour:

  • Too few bookings to make the tour economically viable
  • Force Majeure – the outbreak of civil unrest, war or natural disaster or another event which may render a tour unsafe for you and our guides.
  • The limits of our abilities- we take responsibility for each aspect of our tours as a principle except where Force Majeure applies.
  • We make changes- where circumstances arise which mean we are unable to offer a tour as advertised we will attempt to work with you to find a satisfactory alternative. If this alternative represents a significant loss to the tour then compensation will be offered. If you are still unhappy with the proposed alternatives, you will be entitled to a complete refund.

Prices Exclude:

  • Public Transport costs
  • Food and Drink

While gratuities and tips are entirely at your discretion, they are gratefully accepted.

Insurance:

While London Strides blue badge guides are covered by ITG insurance during the tour, we strongly recommend that customers arrange their own travel insurance.
